A propane tank equipped with its safety components + ground conductor, in compliance with regulations.
The covers on 3.2 and 3.5 ton tanks are off-centre on one side. After the gas outlet tank valve:
1 pressure reducing outlet valve 1.5 bars
1pressure limiter, outlet pressure of 1 .75 bars
X meters of copper, steel, or HDPE pipe line with diameter according to flow rate.
IGU** specifications: Copper B 524-1
Steel B 521
HDPE B527
If a section of this pipe line must be buried, provide a 0.60 m deep trench and place a yellow plastic
screen 30 cm below ground level.
This buried steel or copper pipe line will be treated against corrosion and stray currents
(wicu copper tube or similar, solacier tube or similar).

Before building entry provide a general stop valve housed in a case. For the E.R.P. (Premises Open to the Public) provide a “palm button” general emergency stop valve housed in a case outside the building.
Note: If the tank is able to be accessed by the public, provide a chain-link fence and place a “no smoking” sign on each side of the fence together with safety precautions on the front gate of the storage area.
Standard dimensions of “small bulk” tanks from 3.2 t to 5 tons
“Small bulk” 3.2 t or 3.5 tons
The valve and the cabinet are mandatory if the tank is situated more than 20 meters away from the building or if the site is classified E.R.P. (Premises Open to the Public)
