Recommendations

Customer-based LPG tanks must be positioned:

on foundations and supports (above-ground tanks)

or in trenches (underground tanks)

called “civil engineering works”

Above-ground tanks:

Foundations  and supports  must be made of incombustible  material  (reinforced  concrete). The ground must be flat, horizontal,  not subject to flooding, and absent of any vegetation and combustible materials in the prescribed safety area.

Underground tanks:

The bottom of the excavation will be flat and horizontal in order to receive the anchoring base attached to the tank.
