Servicing and inspection of cylinders

The   passage   through   the   cylinder   filling   centre   requires   several   safety   and   leak inspections.

Defective   or   leaking   cylinders   are   eliminated   from   the filling ciruit to be repaired, re- tested or destroyed (primary sorting).

Conforming   cylinders   the   centre   equipped with a plastic   sealing   plug attached   to the threading of  the cylinder  valve.

In accordance with  legislation, all  LPG  cylinders  periodically undergo a hydrostatic  test  at a pressure  defined  by  statutory  instrument.

This  pressure is  defined  by  the testing  authority or similar  body.
