Preamble

All  countries  (producers   and/or  consumers   of  combustible   gas)  federated   with  “ISO: International   Standards  Organization”   and/or  with  the  “IGU:  International   Gas  Union”, require, in their national regulations  that all materials,  accessories  and equipment  used in the design of combustible  gas installations  at least comply with ISO and/or IGU standards and recommendations.

The standards and recommendations define:

product quality and reliability

simplification for heightened efficiency of use

goods and services accounting and inter-operability reduced number of models

lefficiency in terms of distribution and easy maintenance

to ensure the reliability of installations and the safety of property and life
